The Second Crusade
The Second Crusade began in 1147. It was led by Saint Bernard. The Second Crusade ended up as a failure and nearly all Christians that fought in it were killed.



The Third Crusade
The Third Crusade also ended up as a failure and Jerusalem was still under Muslim control. After the Third Crusade had finished, a new pope took action, Pope Innocent III.



The Fourth Crusade
The Fourth Crusade resulted in the fall of Constantinople

The Children's Crusade
The Children's Crusade began in 1212. It was led by a 12 year old boy named Stephen of Cloyes. Stephen of Cloyes led over 50,000 boys and girls during this Crusade. This Crusade is also known as the Crusade that began the decline of the Crusades.

The Fifth Crusade
The Fifth Crusade was led by 3 rulers. These rulers were King Andrew II of Hungary, Duke Leopold VI of Austria, and John of Brienne. It lasted from 1216-1220. This Crusade resulted in nothing.

The Sixth Crusade
The Sixth Crusade secured Jerusalem from the Saracens. It lasted 2 years. It was led by Frederick II



The Seventh Crusade
The Seventh Crusade lasted 5 years and was led by Louis IX.
